Amazing is the feeling you get after you watch these 2 blu-ray disc with 114 films of the lumière brothers (on the 1422 that they would have turned) their first films, shot between 1895 and 1905. I thought I might find images heavily damaged, scratchées, trembling, blurred, a bit like we see on the various films, Méliès (as the originals were destroyed by himself) and of course, not at all!! The images are beautifully restored in 4k and it shows, very well defined and the vision of the first blu-ray it's a hell of a slap that one is taken and one can hardly believe that 120 years separate us from these images.
